My office will hold our fifth telephone Town Hall, Thursday, April 30, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Town Hall will provide updates on:
- The Bay Area Stay at Home Order being extended to end of May with some modifications. We'll provide an update on the new rules.
- Pandemic Unemployment Benefits – Who qualifies and guidance on navigating the application process.
- Volunteer Opportunities – We'll hear from United Way's 211 Call Center, Census volunteer opportunities, food banks and more.
This fifth telephone Town Hall is Thursday, April 30, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

We have many constituent questions that my office has already received related to our Town Hall topics, but if you have a new question you want addressed, submit it through my website by 10 a.m., Thursday, April 30.
Participants on Thursday's Town Hall will include:
- Dr. William Walker, Contra Costa County Public Health Department
- A representative from Alameda County Public Health Department
- George Warner, Pandemic & general Unemployment Issues, Legal Aid at Work
- Alison DeJung, Coordinator, Alameda County 211 (211 connects residents with local health, human service and other resources)
- Alessia Simmonds from Alameda County Census Team: volunteer opportunities to increase Census uptake
- A representative of a local food bank
- Senator Skinner
