Dear Friends,
Are you considering buying your first home? Do you live, work, or have been displaced from Alameda County? If so, you may be eligible for Alameda County's new AC Boost Down Payment Assistance Loan Program, which provides financial assistance to middle-income working households to purchase a home.
With the AC Boost Down Payment Assistance Loan Program, up to $150,000 can be borrowed in the form of a shared appreciation down payment assistance loan. Preferential consideration will be given to applicants who are educators and first responders. To see if you qualify for AC Boost and to apply, go to www.acboost.org.
First round pre-applications are due on April 26. If you have questions regarding the program, please call Hello Housing, the nonprofit organization tasked with managing AC Boost. You can reach Hello Housing at (510) 500-8840.
It is an honor to serve you in the State Senate.
Sincerely,
Nancy Skinner
